KENNEDY OBUYA
Kennedy Obuya is a level one and two coach trained at the prestigious Australian Cricket Academy. He plays first team cricket for the Kenya National Team as punishing right hand batsman and efficient wicket keeper.
He is weidely regarded as the most experienced in the Kenya National Team which he is representing since 1990 when he made his debut against Melbourne Cricket Club (M C C).

NATIONAL TEAM EXPERIENCE:
1990 - Made debut and scored 99 runs against the Melbourne Cricket Club of Australia (M C C)
1994 - Helped Kenya qualify for World Cup in ICC qualifier in Nairobi
1996 - Represented Kenya in World Cup in India, against West Indies, India, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. Scored 85 runs
against Australia and 147 runs in the series from five innings.
1997 - Featured in the ICC tournament in the Malaysia-Kaulalumpur scoring 70 runs and helped the Kenya National Team to
qualify for the 1999 World Cup.
Achieved the mark of first Kenyan to score a century in One Day Internationals against New Zealand after Kenya
gained One Day International status.
1999 - Represented Kenya in the World Cup in England against India, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, South Africa and England.
2000 - Played professional cricket in Southhampton, U K for the B A T Sports Club
2003 - Represented Kenya in the World Cup held in South Africa where he helped Kenya to reach the Semi-final for the first
time
2004 - Toured West Indies with Kenya team for the CARIB Cup playing four day matches against all the Islands
Got the Man of the Match award and was invited to represent West Indies against England
2005 - Turned up for the Frankstone Peninsula Cricket Club of Australia as a professional.
